I was a Maid of Honor for the first time;
Dave met my parents;
My big sis got married!

Happy 1 year anniversary sissy :)

Every Morning

Every morning, around 3:30 I wake up. I go to the kitchen and prepare my boyfriend's lunch, snacks, breakfast for the day.
When I came back to bed I wake him up, he gets ready, gives me a hundred kisses, complains he doesn't want to go to, says that he will call off to stay with me but after a little bit he goes to work. And I stay there, alone, just me, the dark and the birds that for some weird reason decided to wake up every day at 3, 4 in the morning...
And I feel lonely, I try to sleep but I'm already pretty awake and start thinking of 1000 things, all I need to do during the day and how much I wish he was still there with me to hold me, to pet me, to kiss me. I eventually fall asleep but my sleep is much better when he is with me.

Childhood Tuesdays: The girl with the Easter bow

I wasn't a easy child, I like to think I was but I know it's not true. I don't know how my mom did it - bless her!
I remember one of my tantrums was about a bow that my mom wanted to put on my hair. She came oh so happy with a pink ribbon on her hands telling me she wanted to put it on my hair. When she was done I looked at the mirror and said: I look like an Easter egg!
Oh mom, I love you so much! I'm sorry for hurting your feelings...

How I thought I looked like...

Many years later trying to make up for that day :)
--------------------------------------
Nao sei como a minha mae me aguentou - abencoada!

Childhood Tuesdays: Ballet bun

I said many times how much my sister helped me growing up. With our mom working at the school she was the one who would take care of me.
I would go to my ballet classes at least 3 days a week and she was the one fixing up my hair. It was always clean and sturdy. Until the day she decided I was old enough to do my own hair... she turned to me and said: "I'm not doing this anymore." OMG! It didn't matter how much I cried, I had to do it myself and I laugh until this day how horrible it ended up looking... The bun was completely messy and all the way to the right side. I still can remember the faces at the school when they saw me and asking what had happened!
I was really mad but later on I understood why she did that and I really think that was the day that I started being more independent.
Thank you sis :)

--------------------------------------

PS: Happy Anniversary my love! I love you tons and tons!
----------------------------------

Eu ja disse muitas vezes o quanto a minha irmã me ajudou a crescer.
O coque estava completamente bagunçado e todo torto pro lado direito.
Obrigada sis :)

I wouldn't mind moving to Wyoming

Almost two years ago I was with Dave in the car we downloaded a map of the US on his phone, closed my eyes and touched a place on the screen. I told him that would be the place we would live. My finger stopped in Wyoming and since then we joke saying that we will move there some day.

I have no idea about what Wyoming has to offer (I think about mountains and cowboys, but I can be totally wrong...) but the other day we decided to look for houses there and we fell in love for the one in these pictures (I would put my own couch though). So in love that I couldn't sleep afterwards...

4 bedrooms, 2 baths, 3690 Sq.Ft., 1.0 Acre Lot for just $350,000... I wouldn't mind moving to Wyoming...

-------------------------------------------------------------------
